Take the mummy and run : the Riot Brothers are on a roll by Mary Amato
The Guys and Books club has resumed for the 2009/2010 school year. The boys are very excited to begin discussing great books for boys. The first book that they read is Take the Mummy and Run; The Riot Brothers are on a Roll by Mary Amato. The boys will post to the blog their opinion of the book and activity. I am sure you will enjoy their comments.

ReplyDeleteWe started our meeting by creating our Code of Conduct and everyone signed it in blood. Ok, not blood, but the marker was red.
The guys had a discussion about the book and then we got into the activity part!
We had 4 groups who wrapped up a mummy. Someone said that we really should have used 2-ply toilet paper instead of 1-ply - it's hard to wrap a mummy with economy brand TP! :) It looked like fun - what do you think guys?
